Kalama Brothers

Ryan & Kai Kalama come from a family full of talented musicians. Their father Ron Kalama and their uncle Baldwind Nainoa Kalama Jr. were the original Kalama Brothers from Oahu. Ryan and Kai learned to sing from their mother's choir teaching, and they learned to perform on the stage from watching their father and uncle and as well as joining in with them through the years.

Ryan and Kai are enjoying the journey back to their roots as they take on yet another form of music that has inspired them. Coming from working in two other local bands, Off White and Soul Rebel Alliance (SRA) you can find them keeping themselves busy playing music for a diverse audience all over southern California.

Whether you want to hear the sweet sounds of their harmonies, enjoy their comedic stories, sit back and be amazed by their musical talents on guitars (bass, acoustic, and electric), ukulele and keyboards, or if you want to clap along or stand up and dance, you're sure to enjoy the nature of these two brothers. They always make you feel welcome when you come and special when you leave!

We at Mehe'ula Music Productions are so proud to be working with the Kalama Brothers in their journey to produce their music. Whether singing the traditional Hawaiian songs, singing their originals, and even singing some of their family classics. . . they are sure to entertain the audiences of all ages! Their talents are endless.

In their first concert with us, as they opened for Cecilio & Kapono, they WOW'd the audience with their talent and their charm. We look forward to many more enjoyable events with these young men. It's great to see artists from this generation keeping the Aloha Spirit alive in their music!

If you're looking for some amazing talent to play at a private event, please contact us at (951) 553-8279.
